Indonesia volleyball team claims dramatic victory over Philippines in SEA V League 2025

Indonesia national volleyball team — despite playing in front of home crowd at Velodrome Rawamangun — had to fight hard to secure victory against Philippines in the second round of SEA V League 2025.

Rivan Nurmulki and teammates took the opening set but were forced to play until the deciding set before eventually winning 3-2 (25-19, 19-25, 21-25, 25-22, 15-8).

Rivan Nurmulki emerged as Indonesia’s best performer with 18 points contribution consisting of:

• 15 attack points
• 2 block points
• 1 service ace point

This result gave Indonesia only two points — not enough to overtake Vietnam who previously defeated Cambodia with a convincing 3-0 score (25-23, 25-19, 25-21).
