Indonesia U-23 to Host Group J of 2026 Asian Cup Qualifiers

Indonesia’s U-23 national team has officially been placed in Group J of the 2026 AFC U-23 Asian Cup Qualifiers, according to PSSI Chairman, Erick Thohir. The tournament’s qualifying round will be hosted at Gelora Delta Stadium, Sidoarjo.

The group stage matches are scheduled to take place in early September, as part of the AFC roadmap leading to the final round in Saudi Arabia, where 15 teams will qualify.

Young Garuda Face Tough Competition in Group J

Grouped alongside regional powerhouses, the Young Garuda will face strong competition from:

  • South Korea U-23

  • Laos U-23

  • Macau U-23

Only the group winners and the four best second-placed teams from all groups will secure tickets to the AFC U-23 Asian Cup final round in Saudi Arabia.
