Indonesia National U-17 Football Team has secured their ticket to the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup, set to take place in Qatar. Their qualification was confirmed following a massive 4-1 victory over Yemen’s U-17 team at Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Sport City Stadium in Saudi Arabia on Monday, April 7, 2024.

The Garuda Asia squad, led by Panji Apriawan, clinched their spot by topping Group C in the qualifying round. The prestigious World Cup tournament, featuring 48 teams from across the globe, will run from November 3 to November 27, 2025.

To date, four teams have confirmed their participation: host nation Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan from Group A, and Indonesia. Eight slots remain open for contention, including five allocated to Asian teams.

Meanwhile, Europe will send 11 representatives through the 2025 UEFA U-17 European Championship qualifiers, where the competing teams are still being determined.
