Indonesia U-23 team starts training camp, Vanenburg targets ASEAN Cup title

The Indonesia U-23 national team has started their training camp in Jakarta four days ago — an initial step in preparation for the ASEAN Cup U-23 2025 scheduled for next month.

The tournament, which will commence in mid-July, will utilize two different venues — the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium in Jakarta and Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium in Bekasi for the matches.

Coach Gerald Vanenburg demonstrated his grand ambition for this event with a firm statement:

“About the target. I mean, the winner. If you start with something, my target is always to win.”
