Indonesia’s U-23 national team under Gerald Vanenburg is preparing for the ASEAN Cup U-23 2025 — a tournament that will take place in Jakarta and Bekasi from July 15 to 29, 2025.

In this competition, the Young Garuda squad will face three opponents in their group:

  • Philippines
  • Malaysia
  • Brunei Darussalam

Team preparation began three weeks ago with a training camp in Jakarta — initially involving 30 players before undergoing several selection phases. The opening match will pit Indonesia against Brunei Darussalam at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta.
