Indonesia U-23 secures narrow victory over Philippines in ASEAN Cup

According to BolaSport.com, Indonesia U-23 team defeated Philippines 1-0 in their second Group A match of ASEAN Cup U-23 2025 at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Central Jakarta.

Indonesia’s winning goal — came through Jaime Rozquillo‘s own goal in the 23rd minute following a throw-in from Robi Darwis.

Gerald Vanenburg‘s team managed to score another goal through Jens Raven in the second half — but the referee disallowed it due to offside position.

“Sometimes in matches, there is an element of luck,” stated Vanenburg after the game.
