Indonesia U-23 becomes first team to reach ASEAN Cup 2025 semifinals

According to Bolasport.com, Indonesia U-23 national team made history as the first team to advance to the ASEAN Cup U-23 2025 semifinals — this achievement was confirmed after drawing against Malaysia at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta.

The squad under Gerald Vanenburg successfully secured the top position in Group A by collecting seven points from three matches. Before facing Malaysia, the Young Garuda had recorded two impressive victories:

• Defeated Brunei Darussalam with a decisive 8-0 score
• Overcame Philippines with a narrow 1-0 win
