The Indonesia U-17 national team, under the guidance of Nova Arianto, ended their 2025 AFC U-17 Asian Cup journey after suffering a heavy 0-6 defeat to North Korea at King Abdullah Sports City Hall, Taif.

Although this loss halted Evandra Florasta and teammates’ progression in the quarter-finals, there is still good news for Garuda Asia — as they have secured their ticket to the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup.

The chance to play on the global stage opened up after FIFA expanded the competition format, increasing the number of participants from 24 to 48 teams, with Asia receiving eight slots.
