The Indonesia U-17 national team achieved a remarkable milestone by officially qualifying for the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup, as reported by Bolasport.com.

The Young Garuda secured first place in Group C of the ongoing AFC U-17 Asian Cup following a dominant 4-1 victory over Yemen — a result that confirmed their passage to the quarter-finals and to the world stage.

Guided by head coach Nova Arianto, Indonesia has now recorded two consecutive wins in the tournament — including an earlier victory over South Korea — ensuring their second consecutive appearance at the U-17 World Cup.

This achievement is especially historic for Nova Arianto, who became the first coach in Indonesia’s football history to lead the national team to World Cup qualification via the official path, rather than through host privileges. The former Persebaya Surabaya defender now etches his name in the country’s footballing legacy.

The U-17 squad’s performances have not only raised national pride but also reignited hopes for a brighter future in Indonesian youth football.
