Indonesia’s U-17 national team, led by coach Nova Arianto, has officially secured their place in the quarter-finals of the 2025 AFC U-17 Asian Cup, following a hard-fought 2-0 victory over Afghanistan in their final Group C match.

Despite controlling most of the match, Garuda Muda struggled to convert chances until the final minutes. The breakthrough came in added time, as Fadly Alberto and Zahaby Gholy scored back-to-back goals in the 94th and 95th minutes to secure the win.
