Indonesia to send 1,548 athletes to 2025 SEA Games Thailand

The 2025 SEA Games Organizing Committee has announced the number of athletes who will participate in the regional sports festival — Indonesia ranks third with 1,548 athletes.

The multi-sport event to be held in Thailand from December 9-20, 2025, will be attended by 11 Southeast Asian countries — eight of which are sending more than a thousand athletes.

Host Thailand leads with the largest contingent:

• Thailand: 1,807 athletes
• Malaysia: 1,580 athletes
• Indonesia: 1,548 athletes

Vietnam, which is the overall champion of the previous SEA Games edition in Cambodia — ranks fourth with fewer athletes, but still above the thousand mark.
