Indonesia to host ASEAN Cup U-23 2025 drawn in Group A with Malaysia

According to today’s draw held in Bali, Indonesia’s U-23 national team under Gerald Vanenburg will compete in Group A of ASEAN Cup U-23 2025 — a tournament to be hosted in Jakarta.

Erick Thohir, chairman of PSSI, attended the draw ceremony where Indonesia was placed as the host nation in Group A. The Young Garuda squad will play their matches at two venues — Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium and Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium.

The draw divided participants into three groups, with Group A consisting of four teams:

• Indonesia
• Malaysia
• Philippines
• Brunei

Meanwhile, Group B comprises Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos — with other groups containing only three participating teams each.
