Indonesia Thrashed 0-6 by Japan in World Cup Qualifier

Indonesia’s national football team suffered a crushing 0-6 defeat to Japan in their final match of Group C Round Three of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Asian Qualifiers at Suita Stadium.

Patrick Kluivert’s squad failed to put up any significant resistance — marking their biggest loss in the third qualifying round.

Team captain, Jay Idzes, immediately issued an apology after the match.

“I want to apologize to the whole nation of Indonesia,” said Jay Idzes.
