Indonesia receives FIFA gold award for IKN training center project

FIFA President Gianni Infantino has given special recognition to Indonesia for its historic achievement in national football infrastructure development.

PSSI under the leadership of Erick Thohir secured the gold category FIFA Forward Award for Asian Member Associations — an award personally presented by Infantino at the FIFA Executive Football Summit 2025 in Miami, United States.

This prestigious recognition was awarded for the successful training center development project in Nusantara Capital City — marking the first time PSSI has received an award from the world football federation.

“Congratulations to PSSI and Erick Thohir on this historic achievement,” said Infantino while presenting the award plaque.
