Indonesia places two representatives in Asian Junior Championships 2025 finals

Indonesia has marked a remarkable achievement at the 2025 Asian Junior Championships by placing two representatives in the finals to be held at GOR Manahan, Surakarta.

This performance stands as the best in the last three editions — two Indonesian players will face Chinese shuttlers in men’s singles and mixed doubles categories.

Moh Zaki Ubaidillah will compete in men’s singles against Liu Yang Ming Yu from China — this will be the first encounter between these young players.

This achievement marks the revival of Indonesia’s junior team after previously failing to secure medals in team events. Last year, Indonesia failed to claim titles in both team and individual categories.
