Indonesia national team to face two Middle Eastern teams in FIFA Matchday September

National Team Committee Chairman Sumardji has confirmed Indonesia’s schedule for FIFA Matchday September 2025 — the Red and White squad will face two teams from the Middle East region.

The matches will be held at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Central Jakarta — although the opponents have not been officially announced yet.

PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir previously indicated Lebanon and Kuwait as potential opponents. In the current FIFA rankings, Lebanon sits at position 112, Kuwait at 134 — while Indonesia occupies the 123rd spot.
