Indonesia National Team to Face Saudi Arabia Again in World Cup Qualifiers

Indonesia national team faces new challenge in the fourth round of 2026 World Cup Qualifiers — meeting again with Saudi Arabia and Iraq.

Under the leadership of new coach Patrick Kluivert who replaced Shin Tae-yong, the Garuda Squad will face familiar opponents.

The meetings with Saudi Arabia in the third round of qualifiers brought sweet memories — Indonesia remained undefeated in two matches against the team led by Salem Al-Dawsari.

Interestingly, Saudi Arabia faced Indonesia with two different coaches in the previous round:

• Roberto Mancini led the team in first match in Jeddah
• Herve Renard managed the team in second meeting in Jakarta
