Indonesia national team to face Kuwait and Lebanon in September FIFA Matchday

Erick Thohir, PSSI Chairman, has announced Indonesia national team’s schedule for September 2025 FIFA Matchday — the Garuda squad will face Kuwait and Lebanon.

The team under Patrick Kluivert‘s guidance has confirmed agreements with both nations for friendly matches — communication process between federations proceeded smoothly.

These matches against Kuwait and Lebanon serve as preparation for Indonesia’s campaign in the Fourth Round of 2026 World Cup Qualifiers Asia Zone — a competition scheduled for October featuring six participating nations.
