Indonesia national team placed in pot 3 for 2026 World Cup qualifiers

AFC officially announced that the Indonesia national team is placed in pot three for the fourth round of 2026 World Cup qualifiers Asian Zone.

The group draw will take place at AFC headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia — the event is scheduled for next week.

Six participating teams will be divided into two separate groups, with matches to be held in two different countries — Saudi Arabia and Qatar have been appointed as host nations.

All fourth round matches are scheduled for early October, with the competition format to be determined during the draw.
