Malaysia Masters 2025 Draw Changes Impact Indonesian Mixed Doubles

Significant changes have occurred in the Malaysia Masters 2025 draw following the Manager’s Meeting on Monday evening, with several participants withdrawing from this BWF World Tour Super 500 tournament.

Indonesian mixed doubles pairs affected by schedule updates

The mixed doubles sector saw the biggest shift, particularly affecting two Indonesian pairs.

The duo of Verrell Yustin Mulia / Lisa Ayu Kusumawati received positive news — they were promoted from the qualifying rounds directly to the main draw.

In the round of 32, Verrell / Lisa are now set to face the Indian pair Sathish Kumar Karunakaran / Aadya Variyath.

Adnan / Indah also receive new opponents

Meanwhile, another Indonesian pair — Adnan Maulana / Indah Cahya Sari Jamil — also experienced a change in opponents in their opening match due to the revised draw.

These adjustments present fresh opportunities for Indonesia’s mixed doubles hopefuls to advance deeper into the tournament.
