Indonesia men’s volleyball team defeats Vietnam at AVC Nations Cup 2025

Indonesia men’s volleyball team secured a dramatic victory over Vietnam with a score of 3-2 (23-25, 24-26, 25-17, 25-23, 15-12) in the 5th-8th place playoff match at the AVC Nations Cup 2025 in Isa bin Rashid Hall, Bahrain.

The match proved intense — the Indonesian team had to recover after falling behind by two sets at the start. Doni Haryono and Farhan Halim emerged as key players in the team’s comeback.

Despite initially struggling against sharp attacks from Nguyen Van Quoc Duy and Truong The Khai, the Indonesian team managed to turn the tide in the final three sets.
