Indonesia Dazzles at OCA General Assembly 2025 Gala Dinner

Indonesia made a remarkable impression at the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) General Assembly 2025 Gala Dinner, emerging as one of just six selected nations — from a total of 45 OCA member countries — to perform on the prestigious occasion.

The spotlight was on the Etoile Dancer, who delivered a mesmerizing performance blending pencak silat with traditional dance. The result was a vivid celebration of Southeast Asian culture, showcased through elegant movement and eye-catching traditional costumes.

Performed Before Global Olympic Dignitaries

The performance was staged before leading Olympic officials, including:
  • Kirsty Coventry – newly elected IOC President

  • Thomas Bach – former IOC President

  • Raja Randhir SinghOCA President

A Tribute to Unity and Excellence

Themed “Together for Excellence”, the show aimed to promote not just sporting achievement but also cultural heritage. It allowed Indonesia to highlight its rich artistic tradition on the global stage.

Raja Sapta Oktohari, President of the Indonesian National Olympic Committee (NOC), expressed his pride:
