According to PBSI, the Indonesia national badminton team defeated Denmark with a convincing 4–1 score at the Fenghuang Gymnasium, Xiamen. However, the victory came at a cost as Daniel Marthin suffered a knee injury during the match.

Men’s doubles pair Muhammad Shohibul Fikri/Daniel Marthin secured Indonesia’s third point by beating Kim Astrup/Anders Skaarup Rasmussen 21-16, 21-18. Toward the end of the match, Marthin appeared to have issues with his left knee but managed to complete the game.

“Thank God we won and contributed a point for Indonesia. In team events, every player feels pressure, but the key is how we handle it,” said Daniel Marthin.

He explained the injury occurred due to a misstep after landing from a jump. This victory ensured the Indonesia national badminton team finished as the winner of Group D at the 2025 Sudirman Cup.
