Indonesia Badminton Team Eliminated in Asia Junior 2025 Quarterfinals

The Indonesian badminton team suffered a painful defeat against South Korea in the quarterfinals of the 2025 Asian Junior Championships at GOR Manahan, Surakarta.

Moh Zaki Ubaidillah opened the match with an impressive victory in men’s singles — recording a decisive score of 11-5. Women’s doubles pair Rinjani Kwinara Nastine/Riska Anggraini managed to win the second match in a tight contest — capitalizing on opponent’s error at 21-21.

However, mixed doubles pair Theodorus Steve Kurniawan/Luna Rianty Saffana failed to maintain the momentum — losing to South Korean pair Lee Hyeong-woo/Cheo Hye-in who displayed more dominant performance.
