Indonesia Sends 11 Representatives to Malaysia Masters 2025

Malaysia Masters 2025, a BWF World Tour Super 500 event, is set to take place at Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur from 19 to 25 May 2025.

Indonesia is fielding 11 players, with only two seeded entries:

• Putri Kusuma Wardani in women’s singles
• Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi in women’s doubles

Putri will face India’s Aakarshi Kashyap in the first round — a key chance to bounce back after an early exit at last week’s Thailand Open. Meanwhile, Febriana/Amallia, who reached the quarter-finals in Thailand, will face a qualifier pair.

Top seeds at the Malaysia Masters 2025 are dominated by players from China, Denmark, Japan, Thailand, and Malaysia. In the men’s singles, the top three seeds are:

• Anders Antonsen (Denmark)
• Li Shi Feng (China)
• Chou Tien Chen (Taiwan)
