Indonesia and China not top seeds at 2025 Asian Junior Championships

Badminton Asia has announced the seeding list for the 2025 Asian Junior Championships to be held at GOR Indoor Manahan, Solo — two Asian badminton powerhouses are not in top positions.

Indonesia as host must accept third seed status, while China is placed fourth among 17 competing teams. The championship will take place July 18-27 with two competition categories.

The tournament will be divided into two phases — team competition on July 18-22 followed by individual matches on July 23-27. Competition is predicted to be more unpredictable as it enters a new regeneration era, including declining dominance of Japan after the Tomoka Miyazaki era.
