Imran Nahumarury Named Liga 1 Coach of the Month for March 2025

According to an official announcement from BRI Liga 1, Imran Nahumarury has been named Liga 1 2024–2025 Coach of the Month for March 2025 — a recognition of his success in guiding Malut United to the top half of the league standings.

The 46-year-old coach also claimed the Matchweek 28 Best Coach award after leading his team to a 3-1 victory over Persis at Manahan Stadium. This marks his third weekly award of the season, having also been honored in Matchweeks 12 and 16.

“Thank you BRI Liga 1 for this award. It’s the result of the hard work of the team, coaches, and players,” said Imran.

“I dedicate this award to the players, coaching staff, and all team members who have supported us along the way.”

Despite being a relatively new club, founded less than two years ago, Malut United under Imran’s leadership now sits in fifth place in the Liga 1 standings with 47 points — the result of 12 wins, 11 draws, and 6 losses.
