Hundreds attend Diogo Jota’s funeral in Portugal

Hundreds of mourners attended the funeral service of Liverpool striker Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva at Matriz de Gondomar Church, Portugal — located approximately 33 kilometers from Porto.

The brothers passed away in a single-vehicle accident in Spain at midnight. The funeral service was attended by Jota’s wife, Rute Cardoso, who wore white and was surrounded by close relatives — their wedding had taken place just days before this tragic incident.
