HRC Director speaks about possibility of Marc Marquez’s return

Honda Racing Corporation Director, Yuzuru Ishikawa, opens up about the possibility of Marc Marquez returning to the Wings team in MotoGP — following the rider’s departure in late 2023.

During his decade with Honda, Marquez achieved remarkable success — accumulating six world championships, five triple crowns, 59 victories, and 101 podiums since his impressive debut in 2013.

Honda is now implementing changes by recruiting European technicians, including Romano Albesiano — the former Aprilia technical director who becomes the first European to hold a key position in the Japanese team.

“At Honda, we always do things our way with proven methodologies,” states Ishikawa.
