Herry IP Reveals Positive Changes in Malaysian Men’s Doubles

Malaysian men’s doubles coach, Herry Iman Pierngadi, expresses his satisfaction with the team’s development — particularly after recording impressive achievements in the first half of this year.

Although Malaysia’s journey ended at Indonesia Open 2025, the pair of Man Wei Chong/Tee Kai Wun managed to reach the semifinals — before being defeated by Indonesian representatives Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani.

The semifinal match became a tactical duel between Herry IP and Hendra Setiawan — his former student during his coaching days at PBSI who now coaches Sabar/Reza.

Despite failing to secure a title at Indonesia Open, Herry IP — who recently joined BAM (Badminton Association of Malaysia) — expressed satisfaction with the positive non-technical changes demonstrated by his players.
