Herry IP Brings New Hope to Malaysian Men’s Doubles

According to Bolasport.com, Malaysian men’s doubles coach Herry Iman Pierngadi has demonstrated his exceptional coaching skills by guiding Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik to win two prestigious consecutive titles.

Breaking the Long Title Drought

Malaysia’s top men’s doubles pair ended a long title drought by clinching the 2025 Asian Championships and the Thailand Open 2025. This is a significant achievement, as Malaysia last won the Asian Championships men’s doubles title in 2007 with Choong Tan Fook and Lee Wan Wah, and the Thailand Open men’s doubles title in 2009 with Chan Peng Soon and Lim Khim Wah.

Looking Ahead to Malaysia Masters 2025

This success brings fresh hope as the team prepares for the Malaysia Masters 2025. The tournament was last won by Malaysian men’s doubles champions Goh V Shem and Lim Khim Wah in 2013. Chia and Soh are now determined to deliver their best performance on home soil.
