The photo of the two badminton figures together — triggered various speculations among fans, particularly from Indonesia and Malaysia.

The public linked this meeting to the possibility of Mohammad Ahsan joining BAM as a coach, considering his former partner Hendra Setiawan had already pursued a coaching path.

Herry IP — who led Ahsan/Hendra to world championship titles in 2013, 2015, and 2019 — affirmed that the meeting was merely for a promotional event and dinner gathering.
