The high temperature at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK) was one of the decisive factors in Bahrain’s defeat against the Indonesia national team, as reported by InstaVoetbal Zone.

SUGBK, packed with 70,000 spectators, created an intensely hot atmosphere—forcing players to exert extra effort to cope with the field conditions.

Indonesia national team striker Ole Romeny acknowledged his struggle to adapt to the conditions during his debut with the Garuda team.

“I’m not used to this weather, so I need to learn to adapt. It’s hard to realize how hot it is while playing. But we won. I’m very tired but satisfied,” Romeny stated.

Bahrain’s coach Dragan Talajic also confirmed that the hot and humid conditions at SUGBK presented unique challenges for his team.

Despite the difficulties, Indonesia secured a crucial victory, proving their ability to adapt better under extreme conditions.
