Harrison Burton Ready for All-Star Race Debut with Rick Ware Racing

Harrison Burton will make his highly anticipated NASCAR All-Star Race debut this weekend at North Wilkesboro Speedway, driving the No. 51 Ford Mustang for Rick Ware Racing.

The 24-year-old earned an automatic spot in the main event thanks to his surprise victory at Daytona last season — a result that also ushers Rick Ware Racing into its first-ever All-Star Race appearance.

“Being part of the NASCAR All-Star Race for the first time is a milestone moment for our organization,” said Rick Ware, team owner.

“It’s an honor to have a place in the main event, and we’re proud to provide Harrison the opportunity to compete.”

Comeback Path After Losing Full-Time Cup Series Seat

Burton, who previously raced full-time in the Cup Series with Wood Brothers Racing, lost his seat last year. Since then, he has been racing in the Xfinity Series with AM Racing.

Despite the setback, his comeback has been strong, posting one top-five finish and six top-10s in the first 12 races of the current season.

“The All-Star Race is one of those events you grow up dreaming about,” said Burton.

“Winning at Daytona last year was a huge moment in my career, and I’m thankful to Rick and the entire RWR team.”
