Hansi Flick refuses to release Raphinha from Barcelona

Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has confirmed his decision to retain Raphinha — a player who contributed significantly to the team’s success last season.

The Brazilian winger has shown impressive performance in the 2024-2025 season — markedly different from previous seasons in Barcelona colors.

Raphinha’s contribution proved vital in Barcelona’s domestic treble achievement, with 18 goals and 11 assists in 36 La Liga matches — a performance that earned him the league’s Best Player award.

In the Champions League, Raphinha shared the top scorer title with Borussia Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy with 13 goals — including a hat-trick against Bayern Munich. His total statistics reached 34 goals and 25 assists from 57 appearances across all competitions.
