Hangtuah Jakarta Secures IBL 2025 Playoff Spot

Hangtuah Jakarta achieved a milestone by securing a spot in the Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) 2025 playoffs. The South Jakarta-based basketball team — which will begin their playoff journey next month — accumulated 42 points from 16 victories and 10 defeats in the regular season.

Wahyu Widayat Jati, known as Coach Cacing, shared his coaching philosophy during a press conference at Gatot Soebroto, Jakarta:

“The recipe is training and scolding. But I criticize their actions, not their personalities. Finally, because of all that, they regained their confidence. They work hard and get rewards. The reward is playing time.”

The success of the team led by Althof Satrio — finishing seventh in the standings — is a result of collaboration between players, coaches, and sponsor support.
