Hamilton Reveals Struggles with Ferrari SF-25 at British GP

Lewis Hamilton matched his best result of the season with fourth place at the British GP, ending a four-race losing streak to teammate Charles Leclerc. However, the Ferrari driver expressed dissatisfaction with his car’s performance on the damp Silverstone track.

“This is the most difficult car I’ve driven here in several years,” Hamilton stated. “The tires experienced massive degradation and the car was incredibly difficult to control.”

“I can’t even express to you how hard it is. This is only my second time driving in wet conditions with this car,” added the seven-time world champion.

Halfway through the 2025 season with 12 races completed, Hamilton currently sits sixth in the standings with 103 points — 16 points behind Leclerc. Ferrari maintains second position in the constructors’ championship.

For the remainder of the season, Hamilton hopes to achieve:

  • More consistent car balance
  • Better performance in low-speed corners
  • Overall improved stability
