Hamilton Gives Realistic Take on Ferrari’s Austrian GP Upgrades

Lewis Hamilton offers a measured outlook regarding Ferrari’s upgrade package for the Austrian and British GPs — the Mercedes driver approaches with controlled expectations.

The Maranello team plans to introduce floor revisions at the Red Bull Ring — followed by rear suspension changes at Silverstone Circuit next week.

“I’m happy we have an upgrade. It’s always exciting to get new components for the car and I’m grateful to everyone who worked hard to deliver them,” Hamilton told Motorsport.com.

Meanwhile, Ferrari Team Principal Fred Vasseur emphasizes the importance of on-track execution — stating that car potential isn’t the only performance determining factor.

Both Ferrari drivers will get their first opportunity to test the upgrades during tomorrow’s first practice session at the Red Bull Ring.
