Hakimi ready to reunite with Messi in Club World Cup

Achraf Hakimi — Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) wing-back — is set to reunite with his former teammate in the round of 16 match of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

PSG will face Inter Miami at the Mercedez-Benz Stadium on Sunday night — a match that brings Hakimi face to face with Inter Miami captain Lionel Messi.

Both teams advanced to the knockout phase with different standings — PSG as Group B winners with 6 points ahead on head-to-head from Botafogo and Atletico Madrid, while Inter Miami finished as Group A runners-up with 5 points behind Palmeiras.
