Hajime Moriyasu to Rotate Japan Squad for Qualifiers

Hajime Moriyasu is preparing to make significant changes to the Japan national football team squad ahead of their final two matches in the third round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, according to Bolasport.com.

The Samurai Blue — who have already secured a ticket to the 2026 World Cup with 20 points from eight matches — are set to face two important challenges in the coming days.

Moriyasu’s side is scheduled to visit the Australia national football team in early June, before hosting the Indonesia national football team at the Suita Football City Stadium five days later.

Although their top spot in the group is already guaranteed, Japan remains committed to delivering their best performance in the remaining two matches.
