Gonzalo Garcia shines at FIFA Club World Cup 2025

Gonzalo Garcia — Real Madrid’s young striker — has made an impressive showing at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 with four goals and one assist from five matches.

The 21-year-old player got his chance after Kylian Mbappe was sidelined with gastroenteritis — coach Xabi Alonso gave him full trust as the main striker.

Garcia only failed to score in one match against Pachuca — but still contributed with an assist in his team’s 3-1 victory.

This excellent performance has put Garcia at the top of the tournament’s scoring chart — surpassing Leonardo and Angel Di Maria.
