Goh Sze Fei/Nur Izzuddin join Malaysia’s elite Olympic program

Goh Sze Fei/Nur Izzuddin Rumsani — the world’s number one men’s doubles pair — have officially joined the elite Road to Gold (RTG) program from Malaysia’s Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The program designed to pursue Malaysia’s first Olympic gold medal at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics — offers comprehensive support for the country’s potential athletes.

Program participants receive various facilities from the National Sports Institute (ISN), including:

• Psychological services
• Physiotherapy
• Video analysis
• Monthly allowance of 3,000 Malaysian ringgit

After receiving the offer since January, Goh/Nur finally gave official approval to join the program. They will be accompanied by Malaysia’s independent mixed doubles pair, Goh Soon Huat/Lai Shevon Jemie, who have also officially joined the RTG program.
