According to NST, Malaysian independent doubles pair Goh Sze Fei and Nur Izzuddin Rumsani have joined training sessions with Malaysia’s national team under Indonesian coach Herry Iman Pierngadi.

The world number two pair is now training alongside Malaysia’s other top doubles pairs — Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik and Man Wei Chong/Tee Kai Wun — in preparation for the Sudirman Cup 2025.

“They have integrated well with other team members, and their presence has created a beneficial situation for everyone,” said Herry Iman Pierngadi.

“I’m happy to have three strong pairs in the squad. This will give us great chances to win, regardless of which pair plays,” stated Izzuddin.

With the Sudirman Cup 2025 fast approaching, the inclusion of Goh Sze Fei and Nur Izzuddin Rumsani into the national team’s training camp strengthens Malaysia’s mixed doubles line-up.

The addition of these independent players to the already formidable team of Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik and Man Wei Chong/Tee Kai Wun could provide the squad with the flexibility and depth needed to secure a strong finish in the upcoming competition.
