Giovanna Milana Falls Short with Petro Gazz on Day Two of 2025 AVC Champions League

According to Bolasport.com, Giovanna Milana, a close friend of Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi, faced disappointment on the second day of the 2025 AVC Champions League held at Philsports Arena, Philippines.

Milana’s team, the Petro Gazz Angels, suffered a 1-3 defeat to Taiwan’s Kaohsiung Taipower with set scores of 15-25, 16-25, 25-19, 20-25.

Known affectionately as Gia, Milana was a teammate of Megawati during the last Korean V-League season with Daejeon JungKwanJang Red Sparks, where they reached the playoffs together.

Despite the loss, Gia delivered a strong individual performance. The American outside hitter — who also played for Jakarta Pertamina Enduro in Proliga 2024 — continued to showcase her talent and consistency on the court.
