Gigi Dall’Igna praises Marc Marquez’s dominant performance at Italian MotoGP

According to Motosan, Ducati General Manager Gigi Dall’Igna commented on Marc Marquez’s dominant performance at the 9th series of 2025 Italian MotoGP at Mugello Circuit.

The Cervera-born rider showed exceptional performance — securing fastest times in qualifying, Sprint Race, and the main MotoGP race.

“Marc won, creating a masterpiece of ‘winner takes all’. He performed perfectly throughout the weekend, finishing with a victory that was also the result of cunning, patience, and ability to manage all aspects of the race,” stated Dall’Igna.

“He knew how to contain his rivals’ early aggression, then increase speed at crucial moments. And imposed his dominance with unreachable pace for others, making everything look too easy on a track that wasn’t even among his favorites,” added Dall’Igna.

Amid Marquez’s dominance, Dall’Igna also appreciated Francesco Bagnaia’s efforts to recover from his difficult period.
