German MotoGP starting grid changes after two riders injured

According to Bolasport.com, the German MotoGP 2025 starting grid underwent significant changes after two riders suffered injuries on the second day of the race weekend at Sachsenring.

Poor weather affecting track conditions became the main cause of accidents — with Maverick Vinales from Red Bull KTM Tech3 team becoming the first casualty during qualifying session.

The rider nicknamed Top Gun experienced a highside crash at Turn 4 during his out lap — resulting in a shoulder injury that forced him to withdraw from the main race. Before the incident, Vinales had recorded a time of 1 minute 28.049 seconds which would have been enough for third starting position.
