Gerald Vanenburg praises Arkhan Fikri’s performance in ASEAN Cup U-23

According to Bolasport.com, Indonesia U-23 national team coach Gerald Vanenburg gave special recognition to Arkhan Fikri following the 1-0 victory against Philippines in ASEAN Cup U-23 2025.

The young midfielder demonstrated stable performance as playmaker in Garuda Muda’s midfield — proving his consistency since the opening match against Brunei Darussalam.

Indonesia U-23’s midfield trio of Arkhan Fikri, Rayhan Hannan, and Toni Firmansyah has become both a strong foundation and attacking force for the team.

“When you play with the team everyone knows the quality of other players,” said Vanenburg who believes Arkhan has potential to play for bigger clubs.
