Gerald Vanenburg discusses luck factor in U-23 national team match

Coach Gerald Vanenburg shared his views after Indonesia U-23 national team secured victory over Philippines in ASEAN Cup U-23 2025 — the win came through an own goal by Jaime Rosquillo.

This result differs significantly from their previous performance — where the Young Garuda managed to defeat Brunei Darussalam with a decisive 8-0 score.

“In matches, sometimes there is luck involved,” stated Gerald Vanenburg.
