Gerald Vanenburg calls up 30 players for U-23 team, one without club

Gerald Vanenburg has announced a list of 30 players who will participate in Indonesia’s U-23 national team training camp — marking his first training camp since being appointed as coach last January.

The Dutch coach — who also serves as Patrick Kluivert’s assistant for the senior national team — has selected the best combination of players from Indonesia’s Liga 1 and Liga 2.

Among all called-up players, Muhammad Ferarri stands as the only participant not registered with any club — following his decision to leave Persija Jakarta during the latest transfer window.

Ferarri, who previously served as U-20 team captain and led the senior squad in the ASEAN Cup a few months ago — has ended his tenure with Persija, the club he had represented since academy level.
