Gerald Vanenburg appoints four local coaches for Indonesia U-23 national team

Gerald Vanenburg — Indonesia U-23 national team coach — has strengthened his coaching staff lineup with four experienced local tacticians.

During a training session at Madya Stadium, Senayan, Central Jakarta, Zulkifli Syukur was seen who will serve as the main assistant coach.

The new coaching team is also reinforced by three other names:

• Muhammad Alimudin as physical trainer
• Valdano as analyst
• Matias Ibo as physiotherapist

Indonesia U-23 national team manager, Ahmed Zaki Iskandar, confirmed this appointment. > “Yes, coach Zulkifli Syukur was indeed directly chosen by coach Gerald Vanenburg to assist the team,” he told the media.
